The OM at the foot of Mount Royal

One of the summer’s most-anticipated free concerts in Montréal—the Orchestre Métropolitain and Yannick Nézet-Séguin at the foot of Mount Royal presented by CN—is back this year. On August 6 at 7:30 p.m., all of Montréal is invited to join Yannick Nézet-Séguin and the OM for this event—a unique opportunity to take in the music with tens of thousands of people at this iconic Montréal landmark. Host Pierre-Yves Lord will doubtless bring his infectious energy to this unforgettable event. This varied program includes local works by Maxime Goulet and Claude Champagne, the famous Suite no. 1 “Carmen”, and pieces by American composers Florence Price and Amy Beach.
