One of Montreal's most eagerly awaited summer events, the OM at the Foot of Mount Royal returns each year as the Orchestre Métropolitain transforms Mount Royal Park into an open air stage for a free concert. Families, friends and music lovers gather in a relaxed and festive atmosphere focused on discovery. Under the direction of music director Yannick Nézet Séguin, the orchestra performs before tens of thousands of people in one of Montréal’s most emblematic settings, offering a shared cultural experience rooted in the city.
