Symphonic Spells

Under the baton of Naomi Woo, Liszt’s diabolical Mephisto Waltz, Mussorgsky’s haunting Night on Bald Mountain, Verdi’s enchanting Witches’ Dance from Macbeth, and Augusta Holmès’s epic Andromeda bring timeless stories and legends to life. Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1, performed by renowned cellist Maximilian Hornung, complements the program’s atmosphere.
