The Rendez-vous familial des pompiers de Montréal aims to celebrate firefighters, firewomen, families and the Montreal community in a festive, sporty and inclusive atmosphere. With activities for all ages - games, extrication demonstrations, antique fire trucks, youth animation, 1 km, 5 km or 10 km walks and runs on Sunday, and even a national FireFit competition all weekend long - the Family Rendezvous attracts hundreds, if not thousands, of visitors every year. A free BBQ is offered on site from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., adding a friendly touch to this summer weekend.
