Mon Beau Sapin

Mon Beau Sapin marks the start of the festivities on Mont-Royal Avenue! At Place des Fleurs-de-Macadam, around a twelve-foot-high wooden fir tree, choirs, traditional music, jiggers and wonderful colorful characters recreate the magic of Christmas. Until December 24, Christmas in the Park takes place in Parc des Compagnons-de-Saint-Laurent (ave. du Mont-Royal corner Cartier). On the program: Santa's visit and mailbox, Maison St-Nicolas for photo opportunities, wishing tree and bonfire with marshmallows. During the month of December, the avenue shines with its urban lighting in the shape of branches of light and the enchanting windows of stores taking part in the Christmas window contest.
