Les Furtives + Joy Rider

Two works form this double programme. “Les déesses qui coulent” by Les Furtives offers a moving journey through the intimate yet universal experience of motherhood, as three performers explore an organic, metaphysical world where the body is undone and remade in power, vulnerability, and sisterhood. Blending dance, acrobatics, and testimonies, the sensory scenography invites audiences into a poetic, bittersweet space. “Walang Hiya” by Joy Rider reclaims a term meaning “shameless” to question Filipina sexuality, mixing neo‑burlesque and tinikling to contrast cultural norms with sex‑positivity and propose a pleasure‑centred, subversive femininity.
