Chinese New Year Gala - Hua Xing (Phoenix) Artistic Troupe in Montreal

The 2025 Chinese New Year’s Gala will commemorate the 20th anniversary of our Phoenix New Year Gala. The theme for this year’s Gala is: “As the Phoenix sings and the sun rises, the birds shall return to their nests.” This theme conveys a sincere message of unity, hope, and rejuvenation. The mythical phoenix itself symbolizes good luck and rebirth for all Chinese people. Classical Western ballet and traditional Chinese dance will coexist, along with folk dancing, martial arts, singing, acrobatics, and traditional folk music. A series of carefully choreographed dance programs will lead the audience into a magical world of wonder and excitement.
