How Well Do You Know Your Chinatown?

The exhibition “How Well Do You Know Your Chinatown?” offers an authentic portrayal of this neighbourhood and shares the memories of those who built it and made it their home. It also invites visitors to test their knowledge. The history and identity of Chinatown are revealed through its buildings and heritage, the valuable memories of its residents, and the struggles of its defenders. To mark the school break from March 4 to 7, the MEM, in collaboration with LUMINO, invites you to create a paper lantern that will be suspended along the windows of the Belvedere, forming a large collective, community-based installation.
