Fierté Montréal Festival

Since 2007, Montréal has hosted the largest 2SLGBTQIA+ gathering in the French speaking world. For 11 days, more than 750,000 people, members and allies of the communities converge on outdoor sites and the Village to celebrate advances in the defense of the rights of 2SLGBTQIA+ people. The Montréal Pride Festival offers free shows, indoor activities, film presentations, literature and much more while also raising awareness about the fight against discrimination by organizing workshops, panels and two Community Days. The flagship event, the flamboyant Pride Parade, attracts more than 15,000 participants and a crowd of over 300,000 people.
