Imagine the unlikely meeting of two extraordinary people characterised by the depth of their spirituality: the Persian poet and scholar Omar Khayyam (1048-1131) and the composer Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750). In this creation, Constantinople offers arrangements of some of Johann Sebastian Bach's most beautiful and spiritual works and arias, in dialogue with poems by Omar Khayyam. They will be sung in Persian in response to Bach's arias, sublimated by the voice of one of the greatest interpreters of Bach's music, the soprano Hana Blažíková.
