Festivals and events Leisure activities Arts Indoor Downtown
The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) hosts the Canadian premiere of Anri Sala’s immersive video installation “Ravel Ravel Interval”. The installation features two simultaneous interpretations of Maurice Ravel’s “Piano Concerto for the Left Hand” , performed by pianists Louis Lortie and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet. This work highlights the uniqueness of human expression and invites viewers to embrace uncertainty in art and life. The exhibition will also kick off the MMFA’s celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Ravel’s birth, with Lortie performing a residency at Bourgie Hall.
