The Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (MAC) proudly presents Alanis Obomsawin: The Children Have to Hear Another Story, a groundbreaking exhibition celebrating the tireless work of this renowned documentary filmmaker, activist, and singer. As one of the most acclaimed Indigenous directors globally, Obomsawin was hired by the National Film Board in 1967 as a consultant and has created an extraordinary body of work, with 56 films to date. Through her art, she has consistently used public platforms to elevate Indigenous voices and share their powerful stories.
