The largest art museum in Montreal, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) is a landmark of the city and one of the most visited museums in Canada. Its collection of nearly 47,000 works offers a unique journey through the history of art, from Antiquity to the present day - from archaeological remains to masterpieces by Rodin, Monet or Rembrandt, as well as Aboriginal art, design, decorative arts and Quebec and Canadian art. Every year, the Musée produces and hosts exhibitions of international stature. It also offers a program of events and cultural activities for all ages and tastes.
