Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville
Leisure activites, nature and relaxation Leisure activities Nature, fauna and flora Outdoor
Just a few kilometres from Montreal, in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, five islands make up the Îles-de-Boucherville national park. Walkers, cyclists and canoers come here to take in the fresh air and enjoy its green spaces, canals teeming with life and waterfront trails. Others explore the footsteps of the first nations to have walked on these islands. In winter, the snow-covered landscape on Île Sainte-Marguerite-Marguerite gives skiers and snowshoers the ideal opportunity to observe wildlife. The new visitor itinerary is an immersive experience to learn about the fauna, flora and history of the islands. It features outdoor rest stops and an interactive timeline in the service centre.
