Chinatown is a bustling neighbourhood with great dining options. From dim sum and fast-casual, dumplings and bakeries, wine bars and cocktail lounges, here are a handful of places that are local favourites that are sure to satiate all palates!

Beijing is a local favourite for classic cantonese fare. From fried noodles and rice, to sizzling platters and specialty stews, the extensive menu here will surely hit the spot. Ask for the daily specials - they’re often written on the wall, but if you can’t read Chinese, you’ll be missing out on some delicious goodies!

 

Restaurant Mon Nan

Mon Nan is popular for their set meals for varying group sizes. If you’re in the mood for trying a little bit of everything, order the set menus for four, six and even up to 12 people. À la carte is always a great option as well. Try the Peking duck set meal - a three or four course meal service which includes a duck soup, stir-fry, noodles and the traditional DIY duck in pancake wraps.

Restaurant Chinatown Kim Fung is one of the few places in Chinatown that offers a daily dim sum service. Starting at 8am, enjoy a classic dim sum meal comprised of steamers filled with dumplings, rice noodle wraps and more. Dinner menu includes Cantonese specialties exclusive to Kim Fung. Montreal’s biggest Chinese banquet restaurant is also another popular spot for their dim sum service and Cantonese cuisine. Luxe banquet dishes that include lobster and king crab to fish maw soup and abalone are all available à la carte. Separate private floor available for larger groups.
