Immersive ARcade experience at the Casino de Montréal
The Casino de Montréal has launched the ARcade by Moment Factory gaming experience in which players move on an interactive floor in the spirit of friendly competition.
Inspired by iconic 80s arcades
The Casino de Montréal has been serving up glitz, glamour, fine-dining and entertainment since 1993, in the architectural jewel that once housed the French Pavilion at Expo 67.
ARcade is located in the casino’s adjoining Pavillon du Québec whose first level was redesigned to accommodate the new gaming experience. A fusion of multimedia and video game technology, the two play areas hosts teams of a minimum of four players who choose from the six interactive games offered.
Each game combines motion-detection, projection technologies and videogame mechanics. Players are thrust into the action, using their bodies to control the experience. There’s no need for headsets or handsets – all participants need to do is move.
The two play areas offer six immersive games with three levels of difficulty. Up to six players at a time can play the games which have play times of either 30 or 60 minutes each.

New gaming experience
Similar to sporting events, spectators can cheer on their favourite players while keeping an eye on the scoreboard.
The space also includes an area with over 20 fun games and a bar, which hosts a DJ a few nights a week. It also offers a menu specially designed for this environment.
The entire level is dedicated to a new offer without games of chance where visitors can have fun differently.
